Cambodian gun tour
Gun-loving singer-songwriter Steve Lee is organising an I Like Guns tour of Cambodia that will include two visits to ranges where you can let rip with all sorts of fun guns. The weapons include machineguns, rocket launchers and hand grenades. Participants on the 12-day trip will also spend five days riding motorcycles through the jungles, getting into out-of-the-way places and visiting the incredible Angkor Wat temples. At only $4500 including flights, accommodation, etc, it’s a bargain. “It’s going to be a pretty full-on adventure trip,” Steve says. Most of the 12 spots are filled, so be quick. Patron saint of poachers?
A self-proclaimed saint has been arrested in India for poaching. Lakkha Baba had lived in a hut deep in a forest and would give blessings to visiting villagers on Sundays and Tuesdays, but when authorities raided his dwelling last Wednesday they left with chital antlers, peacock feathers and wood that had been illegally harvested. Baba faces a number of charges and police are investigating whether he has links with wildlife traffickers.
Marks separated again?
Reports this morning indicate Russell and Lauryn Mark, Australia’s married Olympic shooters, will not be allowed to bunk together in the Olympic Village in London. Sporting Shooter has been unable to confirm a story suggesting the Marks were told officially that the decision would stand. Last week the problem appeared to have been resolved, but now an angry Russell Mark has told the Herald Sun it shows double standards because gay couples are permitted to stay together. Russell is said to believe the separation may be punishment for his criticism of the AOC’s ban on sleeping pills as well as Lauryn’s appearance in a Zoo Weekly photo shoot.
New hunting video
We’ve uploaded a new hunting video to our YouTube channel. Regular contributor Alex Juris set out to hunt some meat and stalked up on a nice fallow spiker, using the sparse cover that was available. Check it out below!
