Woman dies in range shooting

A 33-year-old woman died on Saturday after suffering a gunshot wound to the head at a NSW shooting range.

Few details are available about the incident, which occurred at the Sydney International Shooting Centre at Cecil Park.

Police say there are no suspicious circumstances and they are continuing their investigations.

One report says the woman was shot with the firearm she was using, though this has not been confirmed.

She was taken to Liverpool hospital in a critical condition but died soon after.
